It looks like we survived that brutal run of cold weather! That was one of the longest cold stretches I can remember. I hope everyone enjoyed their time inside and didn’t have to spend much time outside in those conditions. We definitely noticed a slow down in new listings the past two weeks, as it’s not ideal to prep a house for sale in frigid temps and as my buyers and I found out not very fun being outside for showings either. Ha!
But we made it through and spring is on the horizon! I believe we’ll start to see a nice increase in lake front listings going forward and we should be in full swing as the ice starts to melt and things start to green up and come alive for the season. The best time to list and view lake homes is in the summer, when they are in their prime, but we do see good activity starting in the late-winter that runs all the way through late-fall. And preparation is key, so anytime is a good time to start planning that sale or to begin research for your upcoming waterfront purchase.
Reach out to start the process! We look forward to hearing from past, current, and new clients this year as interest rates are still low and activity should continue to be high. Let us help you Succeed in Your Sale and Take Pride in Your Purchase.
Get out and enjoy the last couple weeks of winter and contact us soon to plan any real estate action for the year. Thanks!
